You're behaving like the spoilt child who's never, ever, happy--even when he gets exactly what he's been asking for.
The reason they created this category is because Wonder Woman Will. Never. Win. For. Best. Picture. Or even be nominated.
Nor will any of the Marvel Comic Book movies, DC, Fast and the Furious, Michael Bay, or all that other dystopian high-budget, blockbustery film that's constantly being cranked out. (Jurassic Park, Mission Impossible)
These are not movies that will ever be nominated for Best Picture. They just won't be.
And what the Academy is trying to do is to acknowledge that there's a quality genre of movies; they're calling them popular movies, which they are; that merit the Academy's attention.
It's unbelievable that people have described this as simply an attempt to give Black Panther an Oscar.
Give me a break. Not everything is about playing a race card.
